Fun with arrays

This week class 3 have been busy beginning to explore arrays in maths. Arrays can be used to help us answer multiplication problems.

We investigated different ways to make arrays, such as creating an ‘array-bow’, this was an excuse to use paint in different colours and get a bit messy. We also used play dough to make cookie tray arrays by rolling up the play dough to make balls (cookies) and form an array. We had lots of fun!
