Governing Board

Welcome to the Governor Information Page

The team of governors are very proud of Holy Trinity and work hard to promote the welfare of the school as a whole and maintain its distinctive Christian character and ethos.

There are 9 governors: 1 LA governor, 2 staff governors, 3 foundation governors (appointed by the Lichfield Diocese), 1 parent governor and 2 co-opted governors. The term of office of all the categories is three years.

We have three formal meetings a year and in addition we all attend committee meetings (which are held as joint meetings).

Governors also support school with various other events throughout the year, spending time in school meeting the children and understanding the learning that happens in the classroom.  Appointing new members of staff, completing learning walks in school, and much more.  I meet regularly with the Headteacher and other governors have areas of responsibility and link with members of staff.

To be a governor is a vital and rewarding role. If you would like to find out more or are interested in joining us when there is a vacancy, please get in touch.

Chair of Governors: Mr Richard Winterton
