We had many different visits from real engineers and scientists, which helped us learn more about the different jobs you can do within STEAM! We particularly enjoyed the Balfour Beattie workshop where we built towers. We learnt about stable structures and the different shapes which make structures more stable. This was useful as on DT day we built playground equipment, and we were able to take what we had learnt about stable structures and use it when building our playground equipment!
