Class 3 & 4 and the monkey forest

This week Class 3 and 4 went on a school trip to the Monkey Forest.

We enjoyed our lunch whilst learning lots of interesting facts about monkeys. We even got to feel some of the monkey fur and learnt how they have a thick coat to protect them on rainy days. We learnt that male monkeys have bigger teeth than the females, so we knew not to get too close.

Then we went out in the rain to search for monkeys. The monkeys were ready and waiting for their food and we got to see them being fed. The monkey even peeled a banana just like we do! All the monkeys were walking freely around and some even came onto the path but we stayed a safe distance away from them.

We had lots of fun and even got to see a baby monkey with its mum
