Class 4 Visit to Rosliston Forestry Centre

Class 4 went on a visit to Rosliston Forestry Centre to develop our science learning about living things and their habitats.

We had lots of fun as we became nature detectives and used our five senses in the woodland. We learnt about the different creatures that live in the woodland and we even created our own habitats for them to live in. Before we left the woodlands, we made sure to leave it in the same way that we found it.

In the afternoon, Class 4 enjoyed using a range of equipment to ‘hunt’ for minibeasts! We learnt skills to do this well and we made sure we did this carefully so that no minibeasts were harmed. We even found a toad!

Overall, it was a fantastic day filled with lots of learning.
