Building bridges

In Science, Class 4 have been learning how we can change the shape of everyday materials.

This week, we explored how many different ways we could change the shape of a piece of paper. We were set the challenge of finding out which shapes would make the strongest paper bridge; we used two books as the abutments.  The rules were simple! The only materials we were allowed to use were paper, scissors and tape (although we couldn't tape the scissors to the books!).

Next week, we will put our paper structures to the test!
