Equality Objectives Summary 2025 to 2029

Holy Trinity CE (C) Primary School is committed to promoting equality, diversity and inclusion for all members of our school community. In line with the Equality Act 2010 and the Public Sector Equality Duty, we have identified the following equality objectives for the period 2025 to 2029.

These objectives support our Christian vision and guide how we eliminate discrimination, advance equality of opportunity and foster good relations.

Our Equality Objectives

1. Eliminating discrimination and unconscious bias
We will continue to develop staff understanding of equality, diversity and inclusive practice to ensure all pupils are treated fairly, feel respected and are able to thrive.

2. Advancing equality of opportunity
We will reduce barriers that may prevent pupils from accessing learning, enrichment activities and leadership opportunities, ensuring all pupils can participate fully in school life.

3. Supporting pupils with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities
We will strengthen provision for pupils with SEND to improve outcomes, wellbeing and inclusion, working closely with families and external professionals.

4. Fostering good relations and respectful behaviour
We will promote positive relationships, respectful behaviour and understanding of difference through our curriculum, collective worship and restorative approaches.

5. Monitoring equality and impact
We will regularly review and publish equality information to identify trends, address inequalities and ensure compliance with statutory duties.
