Holy Trinity School Council 2026-2027

School Council – September 2026 Update

Our School Council plays an important role in school life. Council members represent the views and ideas of the children in their year groups, helping to make our school the best it can be. They listen to their classmates, share their ideas and work together to make a positive difference across the school.

We are now accepting applications for this year’s School Council!

Children who would like to become a School Council representative for their year group are invited to apply. Application forms are available from the school office and should be completed carefully and returned to the office.

Mrs Wakefield will read all of the applications and create a shortlist. She will then meet with shortlisted children to talk to them about their application before this year’s School Council representatives are selected.

Being a member of the School Council requires commitment, teamwork and responsibility. Throughout the year, members will have opportunities to listen to and represent their classmates, discuss ideas for improving our school, support charity events and help with whole-school activities and assemblies.

Our School Council works as a team, with everyone having an important part to play. Members may also take on specific responsibilities, including Chair, Vice Chair, Secretary and Vice Secretary.

Our work is guided by our school values of Respect, Responsibility, Kindness, Courage, Perseverance and Togetherness.

We are excited to welcome our new School Council for 2026–2027 and look forward to hearing the ideas they have for our school.

Interested in joining? Collect your application form from the school office. Good luck!

Mrs Wakefield.
